One of our favorite ways to transfer patterns onto felt is using the Dritz Fine Point Disappearing Ink Marking Pen. Writes on light purple and disappears in 1-3 days -or use a damp cloth or spray bottle to make the marks disappear instantly. We also love how the pen is labeled and capped; no lost lids or mistaking it for a writing pen! Best use for light colors.

This worked!

It made a clear purple mark on white cotton, and disappeared completely on its own. It only lasted about 24 hours, which was enough for me, but I'm mentioning it in case someone is thinking of getting this pen but needs a longer lasting mark.
