Sashiko Asanoha Stencil

Asanoha or the hemp leaf pattern is a treasured sashiko pattern, but it can be tricky to draw from scratch. Miniature Rhino designed this oil-board stencil to quickly and accurately draw the pattern to use in your sashiko stitching projects & beyond. Use it to embellish and mend with a single motif or as a repeat pattern. It's easy to extend the pattern with the stencil. Why a paper stencil? Paper makes sense. It's flexible, low waste, won't snap or crack like rigid plastic stencils & with care it can last a very long time. It can even be repaired should it get damaged. Try using  washi or paper tape.
