Die Cutting Machine
Christmas Tree SVG + PDF Pattern - optional, for alternative cutting methods

Directions:

Gather supplies, including desired embellishments. You can use seed beads, bugle beads, sequins or all of the above!

Cut out felt pieces using Stitchable Christmas Tree die and cutting machine. Check out this tutorial for more detailed die cutting instruction. Our deep etch die makes quick work of tiny pieces but you can also make a simplified version using tracing paper and our PDF pattern.

Stuff with Polyfil or insert a sheet of stiffened felt, which is our preferred method!

Adding accents is the best part of this project! Use a combination of cut felt shapes and beads to create garlands, poinsettia florals and even oranges.

Invisible thread and DMC Diamant Grande both work great for embellishing. DMC Diamant can be used in place of Diamant Grande if the thread is doubled.

An alternative to felt accents is to fill the tree with beads and sequins. This method is so relaxing and gives a dazzling finished result!

Choose a favorite felt palette and use the Stitchable Christmas Tree die to cut, cut, cut. Then let your imagination do the rest! We decorated dozens of trees and have ideas for dozens more! How will you trim your trees?

Merry Stitchmas from Team Benzie!
