Miniature Gingerbread House tutorial

What could be more magical than a miniature gingerbread house? These little houses will add sparkle to your holiday with glittering snow, candy cane twine, tiny glass gumdrops, and of course, FELT! They are just the right size for a Christmas ornament or to display with your Cynthia Treen felt animal creations! This project is almost entirely glued (except for the optional stitched gum drop ridgeline), so it is perfect for stitchers and no-sewers alike! Get ready for the holidays with this delightful craft!

Time: 3 hours (plus drying time)

Supplies:

One 9 x 12" sheet of Cinnamon Wool Blend Felt
One 9 x 12" sheet of Linen Wool Blend Felt
One 9 x 12" sheet of Swan Wool Blend Felt
One 9 x 12" sheet of Brick Wool Blend Felt
One 9 x 12" sheet of White Glitter Felt  (optional)
Stiffening Spray
Tacky Glue
Fine Tip Paint Marker
Bakers Twine
Glass Glitter
White Wool Roving
Red Glass Head Pins or Stick Pins*
Red Seed Beads
White Seed Beads
Needle for beads
Red Embroidery Floss
Scissors
Hole Punch or Screw Punch
Wire Tool

Additional Supplies:
Fast Grab Tacky Glue
Zap Gel Glue, with flexi-tip
Iron
Skewer or Toothpick
Utility Knife
Small Jump Ring  (optional)
Decorative Drinking Straw  (optional)

*If using stick pins, add an extra Red seed bead to the top of the entry post (see Finishing Touches Step 1.)
